What Is Their Role Within CoPAR?
Provides guidance on the direction of the Council for the Preservation of Anthropological Records (CoPAR).
Members bring expertise from across anthropology, archaeology, archives, museums, and related fields to help shape priorities, review initiatives, and ensure CoPAR’s activities support both scholarly and community needs.
The Advisory Board offers feedback on major projects such as “Preserving the Anthropological Record”, and helps guide partnerships, outreach, and long-term planning with attention to inclusive representation of Indigenous voices and perspectives.
How Often Do They Meet?
Meetings are held 2-3 times per year, or as needed for major initiatives.
